Responsibilities & Context

Job Overview:

The Marketing Manager for Café Amazon Bangladesh is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and increase sales across all Café Amazon outlets in the country. This role involves overseeing all aspects of marketing, including digital marketing, promotions, public relations, and brand partnerships. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Head of Café Amazon to align marketing efforts with the overall business strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Development:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Café Amazon’s brand identity and business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Create and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources across all campaigns and initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing strategies, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

Brand Management:

  • Maintain and enhance Café Amazon’s brand image and positioning in the Bangladesh market.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, communications, and customer touchpoints.
  • Develop and oversee the execution of brand campaigns, both online and offline, to increase brand awareness and loyalty.
  • Work with the design and content teams to create visually appealing and engaging marketing materials.

Digital Marketing:

  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including social media management, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase Café Amazon’s online presence and drive traffic to the company’s website and social media platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics to optimize campaign performance and improve ROI.
  • Manage relationships with digital marketing agencies and ensure alignment with Café Amazon’s brand and objectives.

Promotions and Campaigns:

  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive foot traffic, increase sales, and enhance customer engagement.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to implement promotions in stores and ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of promotional activities and adjust strategies as needed to maximize impact.
  • Collaborate with external partners for joint marketing initiatives and cross-promotions.

Public Relations & Communications:

  • Develop and manage Café Amazon’s public relations strategy to maintain a positive brand image in the media and public.
  • Draft press releases, manage media inquiries, and organize press events to promote Café Amazon’s initiatives and achievements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Oversee crisis communication efforts and ensure timely and effective responses to any negative publicity.

Customer Insights & Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, behavior, and feedback.
  • Use customer insights to inform marketing strategies and improve product offerings.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Regularly report findings to the Head of Café Amazon and recommend actionable strategies.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to the Head of Café Amazon on marketing performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA in Marketing / Hospitality & any Professional Diploma will be a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing management, preferably in the retail or food and beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, brand management, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in both Bengali and English.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the café or quick-service restaurant industry.
  • Familiarity with the Bangladesh market and consumer behavior.
  • Strong network of media and industry contacts.
