- Working knowledge of and experience with USG-funded program management, policies, regulations, and procedures (preferred)
- Knowledge and experience liaising with GoB, private sector counterparts and development partners; ability to coordinate with appropriate stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Knowledge of gender equality and social inclusion approaches.
- Fluency in English and Bangla both written and oral.
Responsibilities & Context
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Master trainer, for the USAID funded Bandarban Agriculture and Nutrition Initiative (BANI) improved food security and nutrition activity will be based at Bandarban and report to Director, Collaboration, Learning, and Adaption (CLA) and Communications and work closely with the Bandarban-based Program team. S/He will provide supportive supervision for 10-15 Community Health Facilitators at union level.
- The Master Trainer is responsible for carrying out training for the frontline staffs on session delivery as well as providing supporting supervision by monitoring the quality and efficacy of field activities carried by frontline staff. S/he builds capacity of front-line staff to increase outcomes for participants under the BANI programs by continually supporting “on the job training”, providing coaching and mentoring, coordinating work planning and field reporting, and conducting quality control site visits. This position is union based and responsible to minimize the knowledge gap of frontline staff to achieve key outcomes. The incumbent will be responsible to track and ensure timely delivery program interventions.
