Safeguarding and PSEA:

Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding and PSEA implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment. Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding and PSEA policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

Job Description:
Position Overview: The Project M&E Officer for the Routes to Self-Sufficiency: Sustainable Livelihoods and Empowerment for Rohingya Refugees and host community Project will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust monitoring and evaluation system to track the progress, outcomes, and impacts of the livelihood project interventions. This role involves working closely with project teams, beneficiaries, and stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting to support evidence-based decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

M&E System Development:
-
Collaborate with project management to design a comprehensive M&E framework that aligns with project objectives and indicators.

Develop data collection tools, surveys, and methodologies to monitor project activities, outputs, outcomes, and impacts.

Ensure the M&E system captures both quantitative and qualitative data for a holistic understanding of project progress.

Data Collection and Management:
-
Coordinate the collection of relevant data from project sites, beneficiaries, and partners in a timely and accurate manner.

Implement data management protocols to ensure the integrity, security, and confidentiality of collected information.
-
Organize and maintain a structured database for easy access and retrieval of project-related data.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
-
Analyze collected data to assess project performance against predefined indicators and targets.
-
Prepare regular M&E reports, highlighting trends, challenges, and success stories.

Provide actionable insights to project teams for informed decision-making and course correction.

Capacity Building:

Train project staff, partners, and beneficiaries on M&E tools, methodologies, and data collection techniques.

Offer support in data interpretation and utilization to enhance the project’s effectiveness and impact.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct routine data quality assessments and validations to ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data.

Identify and address data discrepancies and anomalies in collaboration with project teams.

Learning and Continuous Improvement:

Facilitate learning sessions to share M&E findings, lessons learned, and best practices with project stakeholders.

Participate in project reviews and evaluations to contribute to project learning and adaptive management.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with project teams, partners, and stakeholders to integrate M&E into project planning and implementation.

Provide timely updates to project management and donors on M&E activities, progress, and results.
