Responsibilities & Context
- To have sound knowledge & modest skills to operate overall standardized Mechanical & Electrical operation of large factory premises.
- Ensuring preventive maintenance of all machines of Plants.
- Maintaining and ensuring critical spares of machine & Keep consumption records & checklists of the same.
- To be responsible for all machinery documents up to date, (History Cards, movement cards etc & its proper documentation).
- To have technical knowledge about Gas & Diesel generators, substations, power generation & transmission.
- Ensuring proper maintenance including break down maintenance, prevent maintenance, overhauling & schedule maintenance, and troubleshooting maintenance for different components & machines.
- Developing positive working relationship with the support divisions and operations team to ensure proper operational support
- To have ability to solve any Machineries problem / Mechanical Hazards & must inform immediately to the Operation Manager – Production & General Manager -Factory.
- Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, repairing equipment, supervising engineering and technical staff.
- Attending all electrical & mechanical breakdowns and trouble-shooting works of all production & utility machinery to minimize production loss.
- Guiding and directing all immediate subordinates for planning, organizing and executing the factory works.
- Any other departmental works assigned by the management.
