Education

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 10 to 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)

Additional Requirements

• Age at least 35 years

• Experience required minimum 15 years for Diploma in Mechanical Engineering personnel.
• Experience in Thai Aluminum Industry (Exp. Extrusion, Anodizing etc.) will be preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and safety regulations.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Maintenance Planning:

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize machinery uptime and productivity.
• Design preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage the maintenance team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment such as Hydraulic cylinder, Extrusion Machine, conveyors, compressors, pumps, and HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational guidelines

Budget Management:

• Prepare and manage the maintenance department budget.
• Optimize costs through effective inventory and procurement strategies.

Technical Troubleshooting:

• Analyze and resolve mechanical failures and malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Develop solutions for recurring technical issues to improve system reliability.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections.
• Generate regular reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.

Innovation and Upgrades:

• Evaluate new technologies and equipment to enhance production efficiency.
• Recommend and oversee equipment upgrades or replacements as needed.

Vendor and Contractor Coordination:

Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers for specialized maintenance tasks.

Ensure timely procurement of spare parts and tools.

Emergency Response:

• Develop contingency plans for mechanical failures to minimize downtime.
• Lead the team in responding to emergencies and critical equipment breakdowns.

Desired Skills:
