Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in media content creation, digital marketing, journalism, or communication roles in development organizations, NGOs, or media houses.
• Experience working with social impact projects, gender empowerment, climate change, and community development is highly preferred.
• Strong portfolio of published content, social media campaigns, and multimedia production experience.

Additional Requirements

• Proficiency in content writing, video production, graphic design, and social media management.
• Strong understanding of SEO, digital storytelling, and social media trends.
• Excellent skills in photo & video editing
• Fluency in English and Bengali (both written and spoken).
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
• Passion for social change, gender equity, and community development.
• Must be gender-sensitive and child protection-oriented

Job Context

Chandradip Development Society (CDS) is implementing the “Empowering Fisher Folk Women through Information and Inclusion” project in collaboration with SamajikUnnayanSangstha (SUS) and media partner Report71.com. The project aims to improve information access, digital literacy, and social inclusion among fisher folk women, particularly the marginalized Mantha community, by strengthening advocacy, media engagement, and participatory governance.

We are looking for a dynamic Media Content Lead who will lead the project implementation, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure the successful execution of project activities.

Major Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Storytelling:

• Develop and implement content strategies that align with the organization’s mission and projects.
• Create engaging stories, articles, blogs, press releases, and case studies to highlight the impact of CDS programs.
• Plan, shoot, and edit videos, documentaries, and promotional content for awareness campaigns.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent communication.

Social Media & Digital Marketing:

• Manage content social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram) to increase engagement.
• Design and run social media campaigns to promote project activities and advocacy efforts.
• Monitor analytics and audience engagement to optimize content performance.

Media & Public Relations:

• Write and distribute press releases, newsletters, and reports for media and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media houses, and influencers.
• Ensure positive brand representation of CDS in all media engagements.

Event Coverage & Documentation:

• Provide live coverage of events, field activities, and project launches through photography, videography, and live streaming.
• Develop case studies and success stories from project beneficiaries.
• Maintain a well-organized digital archive of photos, videos, and content assets.

Collaboration & Capacity Building:

• Train field staff and volunteers on storytelling, media engagement, and digital tools.
• Work closely with the program team to align media content with project objectives.

Compensation & Other Benefits

The salary package is monthly BDT 25,000, excluding admissible benefits like Mobile bill, Transport Bill, TA/DA during official in-country travel
