• At least 3–5 years of reporting experience in Environment, Climate Change, Energy, and Labor Rights, especially in the Readymade Garment sector.

Responsibilities & Context

Context

• Karmojibi Nari (KN) is leading a ‘Just Transition to Sustainable Economies: Ensuring Labor Rights’ project. This program aims to ensure that workers and marginalized groups, as key constituents in the transition towards a green economy, play a vital role in driving change towards a more sustainable and equitable future and that they are well-equipped to enter the sustainable and green tech sectors. The outcome includes Increased public awareness about the issues of labour rights during the green economy transition through media coverage. The above outcome will lead to the following impact: Labor rights are protected and promoted during the transition towards a green economy, and related issues and efforts are well communicated to the public, raising awareness and fostering informed debates.
