Education

• MBBS degree from a government-recognized institution.

• Valid medical license (Permanent Registration of BMDC) to practice.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context

The Factory Medical Officer will manage and provide comprehensive medical care to all factory personnel. The role involves preventive health care, emergency care, and monitoring of occupational health standards. The Officer will work closely with management to ensure health guidelines are met.

Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid and emergency treatment to employees.
• Conduct medical examinations for workers.
• Implement and supervise preventive health programs.
• Maintain medical records and ensure confidentiality.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, for referrals and consultations.
• Collaborate with management to develop health and safety policies.
• Educate employees on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Oversee workplace sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Manage the medical facility within the factory premises.
