Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) with 1-year internship having valid registration from Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).
- At least 2-year post-graduation training at hospital setting in the subject of medicine or tropical medicine and/or completion of masters in public health (MPH).
Experience
- At least 3 years
Additional Requirements
- At least three years of operational and field experience in managing and implementing emergency health activities, including outbreak response for migrants, refugee and displaced persons.
- Significant experience in infection prevention and control and working at isolation set-up.
- Experience in working with UN and international health agencies will be an added value.
- Previous experience in UN, UN Affiliate or other International organizations is an advantage.

Languages:
- Fluent in Bangla and English.

Responsibilities & Context
Job Responsibility:
- Lead and prepare monthly supportive supervision and quality improvement plan for the health facilities
- Support National Programme Officer (Health Coordination) in developing and updating standard operating procedures and adapting clinical and operational guidelines with international standards
- Together with clinical supervisros, perform monthly supportive supervision to health facilities, conduct clinical audits and provide feedback for necessary improvement and adaptation
- Plan and conduct staff capacity building activities, including formal trainings, CMEs, developing job aids
- Support optimal use of available resources, including medical supplies and personnel, to meet the needs of health facilities efficiently
- Guide health facility mangers in health operation, including triage, patient flow, pharmacy, outpatient and inpatient management, laboratory, and patient rights and dignity and community feedback mechanism.
- Guide implementation of infection prevention and control measures at health facility in line with WHO and IOM guidelines.
- Support National Program Officer (EPR) in implementing emergency preparedness and response activities.
- Support National health coordinators in preparing weekly and daily situation reports and other periodic reports.
- Monitor and support implementation quality assurance and quality improvement interventions.
- Support National Programme Officer (Health Coordination) in planning and updating health information management system
- Maintain close coordination and collaboration with key stakeholders, including government agencies, UN agencies, NGOs, and community leaders
- Provide guidance on the design and development of health facility infrastructure to ensure it meets operational needs and standards for quality care.
- Cultivate an environment that encourages ongoing learning, quality enhancement, and the adoption of best practices across all health services.
- Support in operational researches that contribute to the generation of evidence for improving health operations and policies.
- Support the supervisor in any other task as assigned to.
Compensation & Other Benefits
- Monthly gross salary for this position is BDT 208,340.67.
