Additional Requirements
Strong knowledge of Reheating furnace & Rolling mill process and operation.
Hands-on experience in stand & guide setting, QTB setting, Process parameters setting etc.
Familiarity with spare management, productivity &efficiency enhancement and condition monitoring.
Strong problem-solving, leadership, and team-handling skills.
Knowledge of Kaizen, 5S and cost reduction techniques.
Proficiency in Auto CAD,MS Office, SAP/ERP (preferred).

Job Context:
Meghna Re-Rolling and Steel Mills Limited (MRSML), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries is established a top-notch steel factory in Bangladesh with the latest European technologies and machinery having a production capacity of 1.5 million MT per annum. The vision of this concern is to produce world-class re-rolling products and billets, which will meet the uprising demand in the local market and will also bring significant economic growth by exporting around the globe. We are seeking competent professionals to supervise assigned shift operations in its Production–RHFRM (Reheating Furnace and Rolling Mill) Department. The role involves ensuring proper mill settings, consistent product quality, and safe operation of personnel and equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe working environment for personnel and equipment during the assigned shift while ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective production.
Supervise spare management, billet management, reheating furnace operations, and rolling mill processes during the shift to achieve production targets and consistent product quality.
Troubleshoot operational and process breakdowns, monitor critical process parameters, and ensure availability of standby spares during the shift to minimize downtime.
Achieve assigned shift KPIs/KRAs through production planning, scheduling, process optimization, participation in shutdown planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare production reports, shift logs, SOPs, work instructions, and checklists, and ensure compliance with ISO QMS, EMS, OHSMS, and HIRA requirements during shift operations.
Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Workshop, Logistics, and Material Management teams to ensure uninterrupted shift production and resource availability.
Conduct training and motivate shift personnel to enhance workforce competency and promote a culture of safety, quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
