Job Context:
Fresh Polymer and Paints Limited (FPPL), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is setting up a modern and diversified polymer manufacturing facility at the Cumilla Economic Zone, Bangladesh. The facility will manufacture a wide range of high-quality polymer and plastic products, including uPVC, cPVC, and HDPE pipes, plastic fittings, bathroom fittings, uPVC WPC doors, uPVC foam sheets, water tanks, Teflon taps, and other polymer and paint products to meet growing market demand. To support its production operations, FPPL is looking for a motivated, proactive, and energetic professional for the position of Sub-Asst. Engineer/Asst. Engineer – Production. The role will be responsible for monitoring day-to-day production activities, achieving production targets, ensuring product quality and operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor polymer production lines to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
Monitor process parameters to maintain product quality and achieve production targets.
Monitor extrusion, injection molding, and other polymer processing operations as applicable.
Ensure proper feeding and utilization of raw materials, additives, and other production inputs.
Inspect in-process and finished polymer products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Record production data, process parameters, material consumption, and prepare daily production reports.
Follow SOPs and maintain standardized production practices across shifts.
Troubleshoot basic process-related issues and take necessary corrective actions.
Monitor production wastage and identify opportunities to improve yield and productivity.
Ensure compliance with production, safety, and environmental standards.
Coordinate with supervisors and production team members to ensure smooth shift handover and operational continuity.
