Experience Requirements

Additional Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Excel, SPSS, Power BI, or other data analysis tools.
- Experience in designing M&E frameworks, logical frameworks (Log Frames), and indicators.
- Strong report-writing and presentation skills in English and Bengali.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Contract Duration: 9 months
Job Context
Chandradip Development Society (CDS) is going to implement the “Empowering Fisher Folk Women through Information and Inclusion” project in collaboration with Samajik Unnayan Sangstha (SUS) and media partner Report71.com. The project aims to improve information access, digital literacy, and social inclusion among fisher folk women, particularly the marginalized Mantha community, by strengthening advocacy, media engagement, and participatory governance.
We are looking for a dynamic MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning) Officer who will work closely with Project coordinator, monitor and evaluate the project activities, prepare report as required and contribute to the successful execution of project activities.
Major Responsibilities
Monitoring & Data Collection
- Develop and implement MEL plans, data collection tools, and frameworks.
- Conduct field visits, surveys, focus group discussions, and key informant interviews.
- Ensure accurate and timely data collection, entry, and validation.
Evaluation & Learning
- Analyze project impact and prepare reports for internal and donor reporting.
- Identify lessons learned and best practices for project improvement.
- Capacity Building & Stakeholder Engagement
- Train field teams and partners on MEL processes.
- Work closely with program teams, donors, and external evaluators to ensure project accountability.
Compensation & Other Benefits
The salary package is monthly BDT 40,000, excluding admissible benefits like Mobile bill, Transport Bill, TA/DA during official in-country travel
