Responsibilities & Context

H.B.Group, is a 100% export-oriented company at RMG sector in Bangladesh, searching for some motivated, self-confident, Team bound and hard-working persons (Merchandiser) who has capable for this position.

• This position is that of Merchandiser (Knit) and the incumbent is responsible for overall activities and outcome of an assigned segment of business account with absolute integrity and honesty.
• Costing and confirmation of price, placement of orders, etc of all Knit product.
• Must have very good knowledge of garments (Knit).
• Must have understanding of fabric terms (Knowledge of all types’ of particularly Knit fabrics).
• To prepare cost sheet for each product or item, review production tech pack, identify the new materials, clarify the discrepancy and arrange missing color standard for each key account as per requirement.
• Assignment of jobs and monitoring the activities (team members, if any).
• Monitor production and ensures time schedule and quality of garments.
•  Monitor opening of BTB- LC’s (by the factory) and processing of shipping documents, follow-up with Forwarder, Shipping Agent, liaison with Bank etc.
