Education

• Graduation/ Post Graduation in any discipline (Textile Background will be given priority)

Experience

• 3 to 5 years

Additional Requirements

• 3-5 years of working experience as a merchandiser in garments industry

• Experience in LPP & PEPCO buyer handling will be preferred

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities & Context

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for garment collections
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to optimize cost and quality
• Create and maintain detailed supplier databases and performance tracking systems
• Coordinate sample development and approve final product specifications
• Monitor production timelines and ensure on-time delivery of garment orders
• Conduct quality control inspections and manage product compliance
• Prepare detailed cost analysis and pricing strategies
• Manage product costing, margin calculations, and budget adherence
