- Candidate must know mig, tig, oxy and fuse welding.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a fabricator or similar role.
- Basic English communication skill
- Organizational skills & Detail-oriented.
- Candidate should have valid travel documents and happy to reside in Australia under sponsored working visa
- Candidate should have abilities to fulfil all requirements to work and enter into Australia
Successful Candidate should be open to following arrangements:
- On successive recruiting, the candidate will commence work in Workshop based in Dhaka. Upon performance you will be offered position to work in Sydney, Australia under Employer Sponsored Visa.
- 6 Month cooling Off Period and 3 years contract bonded with Pacific Metal Balustrade Pty Ltd and open to loss of job immediately if vested responsibility is not duly performed.
- Candidate can notify company 6 months prior to finish off contract and be ready to train incoming or new employee.
Expectation from Candidate after 6 months
- Be able to complete required tasks without supervision or guidance for basic job
- Be able to handle and operate all tools in safety manner
- Be able to understand, interoperate, apply and be familiar with BCA codes and regulations as per relevant Australian Standard.

Responsibilities & Context
Job Description:
Pacific Metal Balustrade has earned recognition in Greater Sydney as a balustrade company. We specialize in balustrade, handrail, fence, gates and privacy screens. In this modern age, styles and technologies are evolving, and balustrades are no exception. To facilitate the clients, we are currently hiring an experienced and qualified metal fabricator to join our growing business. The candidate will be working full time to manufacture and fabricate the following:
- Balustrade
- Privacy screens.
- Steel stairs and structural steel.
- Stainless steel grab rails.
- May involve more depending on the Job requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and welding of steel, aluminium, stainless steel and brass using tools including rollers, flame cutter, shears, drill presses.
- Study blueprints, product design, construction documents & drawing to understand project requirements .
- Marking, Welder checking steel products. Joining of steel components using various welding technique.
- Incorporating nuts, bolts and riveting.
- Cleaning, chiselling, smoothing welds and grinding if required.
- Checking welds meet specification requirements.

Our scope of works includes Balustrades such as Frameless glass, Semi frameless glass, Fully framed glazing, Picket style, Horizontal style (tubular or wire), Handrails (metal or timber), Security Fences & pedestrian Gates, Pool Fence & Gates, Slat Privacy screens & Louvre screens. Batten and façade work, Awning, sunhoods and shades. Included with above we can also offer Colourbond & timber boundary fence, automated driveway gates or manual, Batten and façade work, Awning, sunhoods and shades, bollards, corner guards, architectural cladding and sheet metal work.

Compensation & Other Benefits
- Annual salary package is negotiable based on experience.
- Salary paid monthly to nominated account.
- 2.5-3.5% annual increment of salary (subject to performance)
