Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Middle & High School Bangla Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment, fostering the academic, emotional, and social growth of students. The role involves planning and delivering lessons across the relevant subject, supporting students’ development, and collaborating with other staff members to ensure a holistic education for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in relevant subject in line with the Cambridge curriculum.Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and promote student engagement.
• Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to learn.Assess and track students’ academic progress through assignments, quizzes, tests, and other assessments.
• Create quality lesson plans for better understanding of students.Monitor students’ academic performance and provide feedback to support their learning.
• Address individual student needs, providing extra support or enrichment opportunities as necessary.
• Encourage students to develop a love for learning Bangla as the subject if often found to be challenging for english medium students.
• Promote the emotional, social, and behavioral development of students, ensuring they feel supported and safe in their learning environment.
• Maintain effective classroom management to ensure a productive and respectful learning environment.
• Handle classroom challenges or disciplinary issues in a fair and constructive manner.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about students’ progress, behavioral issues, and achievements.
• Attend parent-teacher conferences, school meetings, and professional development sessions as required.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of educational practices.Stay up-to-date with changes in curriculum, teaching tools, and technologies to improve classroom effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and other required documentation.
• Prepare reports and assessments in accordance with school guidelines.
