Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Additional Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in MIS, IT, or software development.

• Strong proficiency in PHP, WordPress, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap.

• Experience with database design, optimization, and query performance tuning.

• Knowledge of API development and integration.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Requirements:

• Familiarity with IIS Server.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

• Hands on knowledge on Personal Information System, Payroll Management System (e.g., Salary, TAX, PF), Cash Advance System, Inventory Management System, Requisition System, Leave & Visit System, Appraisal System, Report Tracking System, Grants Management System and Partnership Management System.

• Experience with FPDF, MPDF for generating PDFs.

• Develop and maintain the MEL framework to track progress against project goals and objectives.

• Experience with security best practices and data protection.

• Knowledge of network infrastructure and system administration.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Skills & Expertise:

HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Ajax, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, JSON, MySQL, PHP (OOP), Application Implementation & Development, WordPress, Joomla, Data Management and Analysis.

Responsibilities & Context

Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) is a grants making organization for human rights and governance initiatives invites applications from Bangladeshi nationals for the following position. This is a regular position to be recruited initially for 3 years with possible extension based on availability of funds.

Job Title: MIS Officer – The position is based in Dhaka with 20% field travels.

Reports to: Senior Coordinator
