Responsibilities & Context

We seek a high-performing and trustworthy Modern Trade Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets and build our business by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team’s potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management.


  • Manage and build strong relationships with all the key accounts in modern trade. Manage and oversee the profitability of your business by developing long-term and short-term sales goals as well as channel strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly retail partner plans.
  • Achieve agreed sales volume and control of expenses.
  • Supervise and lead the modern trade sales team of your region.
  • Manage the sales team by outlining clear objectives set a transparent KPI.
  • For the businesses responsible for overall sales, dealer development, pricing, communication, market visit/planning, competitors offering analysis, and market demand analysis.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proven track record on sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to evaluate sales effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing “retail partners” understand their needs and ensure high levels of “client” satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • To be able to make new enlistments of products in major grocery stores and pharmacies around Bangladesh.
  • Collecting product orders from stores and ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Selling and marketing products.
  • Execute the sales plan for the respective area.
  • Visiting potential stores and discussing products in detail for new business opportunities.
  • Collecting market data and competitor information.
  • Understanding client needs and providing appropriate sales solutions.
  • Informing about product details, current prices, and facilities.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports & submit them to the supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management.
