IT Skill: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/ Excel/PowerPoint, SPSS, KOBO and other analytical software

Language: Working knowledge-Reading/Writing/Speaking/Listening for English & Bengali, Ability to communicate in Local Chattogram/Rohingha dialect.

Responsibilities & Context

Assisted in designing, planning, and ensuring effective monitoring of the project according to the project’s needs – 30%

  • Identification of partners in coordination with the HCRP program manager and project lead
  • Support to partner assessment and develop an agreement.
  • Ensure the program quality framework in all Relevant projects.
  • Develop different tools for monitoring and evaluation and research and study project activity.
  • Maintain and ensure donor requirements. Contribute to developing an IMS for the HCRP program and projects.
  • Ensure effective monitoring of the project activities.
  • Prepare monthly work plan, break it down to daily/weekly work plan, and ensure implementation monitoring.
  • Regularly follow up on the project activity, and work progress.
  • Review project-related crucial problems that are forwarded by the Project lead and take the necessary steps to resolve them on a priority basis.

Accountability and learning – 20%

  • Ensure complaint log and register at the project level.
  • Responsible for case study collection, reporting, and ensuring media coverage (Photos and videos).
  • Disseminate reports and study findings to MEAL officers and maintain reporting deadlines.
  • Contribute to organizing lessons learned workshop/project inception workshop with management and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to developing a unique Information Management system/MIS for all the projects at Bhasanchar.
  • Statistical data analysis through Excel, and SPSS and prepared PowerPoint presentation.
  • Contribute to monthly Plan vs. achievement tracking and gap Analysis and help management in strategic decision-making, prepare monthly meeting minutes.
  • Contribute to handling Complaint and Feedback Mechanism (CFM), maintain the CFM logbook, and ensure regular monitoring of the CFM process and procedure.
  • Participate and engage in seasonal programs activity monitoring and donor reporting.

Capacity-building initiatives for project participants, key stakeholders, and project staff – 10%

  • Conduct training and provide technical support on Mobile data Collection (KoBo), Lead survey team for conducting field-level data collection, and report to the IRB MEAL team.
  • Orient key stakeholders on Complaints & Feedback Mechanism (CFM), Child Protection, Safeguarding & Gender Sensitivity issues in relation to project activities.
  • Organize training and workshops in different sectors for internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure effective reporting, appropriate archiving, and visibility according to the project’s need – 15%

  • Support to Organize phase Coordinate with Project manager and responsible for preparing all types of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports of all projects in Bhasanchar.
  • Prepare qualitative and quantitative reports of all projects in Bhasanchar, Coordinate with the project team, and contribute to preparing project completion reports.
  • Responsible for WFP-funded GFA projects daily, weekly, and monthly donor reporting.
  • Maintain reporting deadlines of different internal Donors (IR Canada, IR USA, etc.) in their specific reporting formats.
  • Contribute to GFA, WASH, and Child Protection Projects data management and reporting.

Research and Evaluation – 10%

  • Conduct research, PDM, action review, study baseline, end-line
  • Work with the IRB MEAL team to conduct different study
  • Conduct midterm evaluation
  • Provide technical support to KOBO tools development and orientation for Data collection for assessment purposes.

Ensures comprehensive and effective communication, coordination, and advocacy with different stakeholders – 10%

  • Coordinating overall implementation of the program at the field level.
  • Ensure effective networking and coordination with CIC, UN, INGO, NGOs other offices, and other key stakeholders of the project.
  • Ensure appropriate links with national/local authorities, state institutions, civil society, and other relevant stakeholders, including effective coordination and information exchange with them.
  • Represent Islamic Relief Bangladesh in coordination meetings at different levels.
  • Coordinate the project led to be managed within the agreed time, cost, and quality constraints to enable delivery of the agreed outputs and/or benefits.
  • Ensure that the beneficiaries are aware of the assistance and services available and how to access them; distribution points should be accessible and distribution mechanisms should take into consideration groups with specific needs to minimize chances of violence, abuse, and exploitation.
  • Liaise with partners, government representatives, donor agencies, and national and international NGOs to ensure smooth implementation of the project.
  • Provide technical support for conducting need assessment, FGDs, baseline, mid-term, and end-line surveys.
  • Organize meetings and lesson-learned workshops for further organizational development.

Others – 5%

  • Frequent travel for extended periods to remote project areas.
  • Participate in seasonal programs such as Ramadan, Qurbani, Winterization, etc.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of team members, safeguarding them from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation. Additionally, serves as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding practices to foster a safe and secure working environment.
