Requirements

Education

  • Master of Social Science (MSS)
  • Postgraduate degree in Social Science or a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Anthropology, Development Studies, Urban & Rural Planning, Journalism, Mass Communication, Environmental Science, or Agriculture)

Experience

    • At least 5 years

Additional Requirements

  • Age At most 45 years

Experiences:

  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in the NGO development sector; at least 3 years in a similar position in coastal areas.
  • At least 5 years of experience in climate change, disaster management, and household-level income-generating initiatives (livestock, poultry, aquaculture, fisheries, agriculture

Other Requirements:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets) for data management.
  • Strong communication skills in English, including report writing.
  • Experience in budget tracking, staff monitoring, work plan execution, and documentation (both hard and soft copy).

  • Ability to develop Concept note, ToR, SOP, and MOU as needed.
  • Strong understanding of financial bill and voucher preparation, VAT and tax calculations, and supplier management at the upazila level.
  • Strong understanding of KOBO tools, online initiatives, and social media platforms.
  • Commitment to remain for the project’s duration (if selected).
  • Candidate should have valid motor driving license (mandatory)
