Additional Requirements

- Experience in the design of data templates, data collection, data entry, information management, and data analysis software (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, Kobo Collect, ODK, SPSS / STATA, Power BI, etc.)
- Experience in MIS & IT, Data Entry, Reporting, Monitoring & Evaluation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS).
Responsibilities & Context
Context: The Bangladesh Furniture Industries Owner’s Association (BFIOA) is dedicated to advancing the furniture industry by enhancing the skills and employability of individuals through strategic training and development initiatives. As part of our commitment to economic transformation, we implement the ASSET Project across all furniture factories nationwide.
Position Overview: The Monitoring Officer will support the Chief Training Coordinator in implementing and overseeing the ASSET Project’s training programs. This role involves monitoring and evaluating the training activities to ensure they meet the project’s objectives and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Assist in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks for training programs.
- Track and record training activities, participant attendance, and outcomes.
- Conduct regular site visits to observe training sessions and gather feedback.
2. Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect and analyze data on training effectiveness and impact.
- Prepare detailed reports on training progress, challenges, and outcomes.
Provide recommendations for improving training programs based on evaluation results.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that training programs meet the established quality standards.
- Identify and report any issues or discrepancies in training delivery.
- Support the implementation of corrective actions to address identified issues.
4. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with trainers, participants, and other stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
Maintain open communication channels with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for training activities.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all monitoring activities.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the Chief Training Coordinator and project management team.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for project audits and evaluations.
