- Excellent monitoring, Evaluation, data collection, data analysis and reporting skills;
- Ability to work in challenging environments and handle difficult situations;
- Capacity of monitoring framework development, monitoring plan and tools development;
- Excellent verbal and written fluency in both Bangla and English. Working language of Cox’s Bazar accent is desirable;
- Strong leadership and team management skills;
- Experience of monitoring the Humanitarian response project;
- Excellent communication skills and timely reporting to the relevant donner and stakeholders;
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:
Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK) is implementing the UNFPA funded “Engaging Rohingya and host community women, men, boys and girls in social change through mobilization methods that empower them to prevent and address GBV and harmful gender-related practices” since 2017 in the Rohingya refugee camps and the surrounding host communities.
Job Responsibilities:
To support the overall project implementation, we are looking for highly motivated and qualified incumbent to perform the role of Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Officer under the implementing partner, GUK. S/he will need to take on challenges to ensure a rapid, effective, and timely response, holding overall responsibility for project achievements and results.
- Regularly monitor the ongoing activities of the project to ensure that they are being implemented according to the planned timeline, budget and scope;
- Conduct field visits to observe the implementation of activities, interact with beneficiaries, and verify that the services provided meet quality standards and address the needs;
- Qualitative and Quantitative Data Collection;
- Document and lessons learned throughout the project;
- Coordinate with Programme team to develop appropriate monitoring tools and methodologies to ensure both qualitative and quantitative information is collected, collated, and reported ensuring disaggregation of data as appropriate;
- Manage hard and soft copy documentation of all M&E files including assessments, reports, case studies and photographs;
- Provide regular training / capacity building for programme staff and partners, in all tools and methodologies Liaise and coordinate with internal and external actors for collection of relevant statistics and data;
- Ensure the communication and dissemination of complaints handling procedures, policies and tools are appropriate to beneficiaries, project staff and other stakeholders drawing on multiple communication channels. Conduct different survey and prepare report accordingly;
- Provide report to the donner as per their requirement.
