Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline from a UGC-approved university.
- Professional credentials such as CIPD, SHRM-CP/SCP, HRCI, or specialized certifications in OD, L&D, Talent Management, or HR Analytics will be considered an added advantage.
Experience
- At least 10 years
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3–5 years in leadership roles focusing on organizational development, talent development, or performance management.
- Proven track record of driving people development, employee engagement, and large-scale OD initiatives within complex organizations.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Responsibilities & Context
The Head of Organizational Development (OD) will play a strategic leadership role in shaping the people agenda of the organization by designing and implementing initiatives that enhance performance, capability, engagement, and organizational culture. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the role will serve as a key driver of enterprise-wide HR transformation and people development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Management: Lead and continuously refine the performance management system to align individual performance with organizational goals.
- Learning & Development: Design and implement strategic learning programs to build capabilities across all levels of the organization.
- Leadership Development & Talent Management: Drive leadership pipeline development, succession planning, and talent review processes.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and execute engagement initiatives to foster motivation, retention, and a high-performance culture.
- HR Analytics: Generate and analyze HR metrics to enable data-driven decision-making and track organizational effectiveness.
- Job Analysis & Organizational Design: Conduct job evaluations and lead organizational design initiatives to support business strategy.
- Employer Branding: Enhance the organization’s reputation as an employer of choice through culture-driven and brand-aligned initiatives.
- Strategic Support to Chief People Officer: Assist in shaping HR strategy, embedding organizational values, and leading change management efforts.
