Minimum 3 years of backend development experience in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Web API.
Proven leadership experience (must have led a development team).
Strong command of English to effectively collaborate with our Canada-based team.
Experience designing and developing workflows using Elsa Workflow, Temporal.io, or other workflow engines.
Experience integrating workflow APIs into backend systems.
Strong expertise in AI model integration (OpenAI, FlowiseAI, GeminiAI, or similar).
Familiarity with Prompt Engineering for optimizing AI interactions.
Deep understanding of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB, ArangoDB.
Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless computing.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for AI-powered applications.
Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Strong knowledge of security best practices in backend development (OWASP, API security, encryption).
Experience with unit testing and backend testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, Moq).

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with AI-powered search, recommendation engines, or chatbot integrations.
Familiarity with LangChain, ML.NET, TensorFlow.NET, or AI-based automation.
Hands-on experience with GraphQL and real-time data processing.
Exposure to high-availability, distributed systems, and performance tuning.

We are seeking a .NET Backend Developer with expertise in backend development, AI integrations, workflow automation, and strong team leadership capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a backend development team, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.
Design and develop workflows using Elsa Workflow, Temporal.io, or similar workflow automation tools.
Integrate workflow APIs into backend services and ensure seamless communication between systems.
Build and maintain scalable APIs and backend services using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API.
Implement AI-driven backend features by integrating OpenAI, FlowiseAI, GeminiAI, or other AI/ML models.
Optimize database performance and ensure data consistency using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB, Firebase, or ArangoDB.
Architect event-driven systems, microservices, and serverless applications using Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, or Kafka.
Work with AI-powered automation and decision-making workflows for backend operations.
Follow SOLID principles, design patterns, and best practices to create maintainable and scalable codebases.
Secure applications using OAuth, JWT, Identity Server, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
Integrate backend services with RESTful APIs, gRPC, WebSockets, and AI-driven automation pipelines.
Implement logging, monitoring, and performance optimizations using tools like Serilog, Seq, Application Insights, or Prometheus.
