Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Relevant field. Candidates having a Master’s degree will get preference

Experience

Additional Requirements

• Age at most 40 years

• In-depth knowledge of networking, virtualization, cloud computing, server management and IT security
• Certification in CCNA, CISA, Cloud (Azure/AWS) is preferable
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities & Context

• Design, configure, maintain LAN, WAN, wireless networks, video surveillance system, IP PABX etc.
• Install and support routers, switches, firewalls and other network devices
• Ensure the security of IT systems through firewalls, antivirus software and other security measures
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations and troubleshooting procedures
• Support disaster recovery and backup procedures for network infrastructure
• Ensure day to day user support of ICTD throughout the country
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technological needs
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues
• Provide technical support for users and escalate problems when necessary
• Any other task assigned by the Supervisor
