Job Responsibilities:
Network Design and Implementation:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.
Network Administration:
- Manage and monitor network performance, ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime.
- Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Perform network troubleshooting to identify and resolve connectivity issues.
Security Management:
- Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and implement security measures to protect against threats.
- Monitor network traffic for security breaches and respond to incidents promptly.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and policies.
- Generate regular reports on network performance, incidents, and resolutions.
Support and Maintenance:
- Provide technical support for network-related issues to internal teams.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for network-related services and support.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and best practices.
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance network performance and reliability.
- Assist in the development and implementation of network standards and protocols.
