Job Requirements:

• 2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, SOC.
• Strong understanding of routing/switching, including VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and inter-VLAN routing.
• Experience configuring and maintaining Palo Alto Firewalls (PA-Series or VM-Series).
• Experience managing Cisco FTD (with Firepower Management Center or standalone).
• Solid knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE, GRE over IPSec)
• Familiarity with network security best practices and traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).

Preferred Certifications:

• CCNA / CCNP (Routing & Switching or Security)·
• PCNSE (Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer)

Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary:

ABG Technologies Limited (ABGTL) is looking for a results-driven “Network Engineer” with strong expertise in routing, switching, VPN technologies, and hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Cisco FTD firewalls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high performance, availability, and security across all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including Layer 2/Layer 3 switches and routers.
• Configure and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP across multi-site environments.
• Implement and maintain site-to-site and remote-access VPNs using IPSec, SSL, and Global Protect.
• Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls, including policies, objects, NAT, App-ID, URL filtering, Threat Prevention, and IPS.
• Manage and configure Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) devices via FMC and FTD CLI, including ACLs, VPNs, and IPS policies.
• Monitor network health and performance using tools such as SNMP, NetFlow, and Syslog.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure and scalable network solutions based on business requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation including diagrams, IP address management, and configuration standards.
• Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning initiatives.
