Responsibilities & Context

Context:

Vivo Bangladesh Factory is a well-reputed Chinese multinational smartphone assembly and manufacturing company, namely Best Tycoon (BD) Enterprise Ltd. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of networking principles, with a strong focus on firewall and VPN technologies. The candidate should be adept at designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient network infrastructures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage secure network infrastructures.
• Ensure network system availability, performance, and integrity
• Optimize routing protocols, especially BGP and OSPF
• Configure and maintain firewalls and monitor logs for security threats
• Conduct regular security audits and stay updated on security trends
• Create and maintain network and security documentation
• Coordinate with China team, vendors, and ISPs for critical issues and new services.
• Support team members in resolving IT issues and foster effective work relationships across departments.
