Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering

Experience

Additional Requirements

• Proficiency in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Expertise in configuring and managing network devices.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols.
• Expertise in Cisco wireless network setup and management.
• Experience with SDN controllers.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to document technical processes clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities & Context

• Design and deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to meet organizational requirements.
• Plan and design fiber optic networks. Determine suitable fiber types (e.g., single-mode or multi-mode) based on project requirements.
• Implement and configure network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues to minimize downtime.
• Analyze and optimize network performance using monitoring tools.
• Network Security and Compliance: Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Implement access control policies using technologies like TACACS+ and RADIUS.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
• System Integration and Management: Integrate and manage third-party systems and devices within the network.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless operation of enterprise applications.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams and configuration logs.
• Provide regular reports on network performance and incident response activities.
• Support and Training: Provide technical support to end-users and resolve connectivity-related issues.
• Train IT staff and end-users on network best practices.
