Experience

Responsibilities & Context
Conduct regular, periodic, and surprise internal audits of factory operations to assess operational efficiency, financial integrity, and adherence to established controls.
Perform comprehensive audits of accounts, procurement and purchasing activities, expenses, inventory, stores, and production processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and proper utilization of resources.
Conduct physical verification of inventory and stock balances and reconcile findings with ERP/system records to identify and investigate discrepancies.
Identify financial irregularities, potential fraud risks, operational inefficiencies, material wastage, and weaknesses in existing internal control systems.
Evaluate compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal control frameworks, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing audit findings, identified risks, control deficiencies, root causes, and practical recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor and follow up on the implementation of agreed corrective actions and ensure that reported audit observations are appropriately addressed and resolved within the stipulated time frame.
Provide management with professional recommendations and analytical insights to strengthen internal controls, enhance operational efficiency, minimize financial and operational risks, and reduce unnecessary costs.
