Requirements

Education

Minimum Graduation in any discipline from any reputed university (preferably business-related discipline)
3rd division or 3rd class in any exam are discouraged from applying

Experience

Additional Requirements

Must have hands-on experience in banking operational areas, particularly with BACH and BEFTN processing.
Strong understanding of banking process guidelines, regulatory requirements (especially Bangladesh Bank timelines), and internal controls (DOA, DCFCL, SLA).
A proactive attitude towards problem resolution and the ability to find innovative solutions.
Capacity to work effectively under pressure, manage high work volumes, and work with limited resources.
Strong initiative and a personal drive to achieve set business targets and uphold service standards.

Responsibilities & Context

Manage the end-to-end processing of all BACH and BEFTN transactions, which includes outward and inward clearing, returns, and debit/credit transfers.
Ensure the timely settlement of all BACH and EFTN transactions as per Bangladesh Bank (BB) reports, including reconciliation of outward physical instruments against processing reports.
Process all BACPS instruments and EFTN documents received from branches within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Ensure all financial entries are processed correctly and that outward/inward instruments are properly maintained in the Centralised Processing System (CPS) and integrated with the Core Banking System (CBS).
Handle adjustments for insufficient fund returns and manage BACH service charges, waivers, and list preparations as per Bangladesh Bank directives.
Ensure strict adherence to all internal and regulatory compliance standards by proactively monitoring and resolving audit issues to prevent non-recurrence.
Supply accurate data for Management Information Systems (MIS). Maintain proper MIS for all BACH, BEFTN, and BACPS activities. Manage the archiving of all clearing instruments.
Perform any other relevant assignments provided by the Senior Management of the Operations Division.
