Responsibilities & Context
Technical Support:
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer systems for the company’s staff.
- Must have a good understanding of graphic design work and know the work.
- Providing technical support to customers regarding the use of medical devices with computer components (e.g., software for diagnostic equipment).
- Maintaining and repairing computer hardware and software used in the business.
Compliance and Security:
- Ensuring the company’s computer systems comply with relevant data privacy regulations (especially important in healthcare).
- Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures to protect patient data and company information.
Integration and Communication:
- Assisting with the integration of new medical devices and equipment with the company’s existing IT infrastructure.
- Communicating effectively with medical device vendors and IT service providers.
Research and Development:
- Staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in medical technology and computer systems.
- Researching and recommending new software and hardware solutions to improve efficiency and data management.
