Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related field.
- Candidates having relevant experience in Finance & Accounts operations will be given preference.
- Fresh candidates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply
Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 40 years
- Sound knowledge of banking procedures and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities & Context
National Development Programme (NDP) is a national level, non-government, non-profit development organization established in 1992, dedicated to improving livelihoods, promoting human rights, gender equality, sustainable development, and inclusive growth throughout Bangladesh. NDP implements wide-ranging programs in Education, Health, Agriculture, Housing, and Credit Support Programme in collaboration with partners including Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and various national & international development stakeholders.
Job Context: NDP is seeking a competent, energetic, and self-motivated professional for the position of Officer (Finance & Accounts) under the Finance & Accounts Department.The Officer (Finance & Accounts) will be primarily responsible for performing daily banking operations of the organization, including deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers. The incumbent will ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements, maintain accurate records of banking transactions, and coordinate with banks and other financial institutions regarding organizational financial matters. The position requires maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and providing effective support for smooth treasury and banking operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- To perform daily banking activities, including cash deposits, cheque processing, fund transfers, and maintaining liaison with banks.
- To assist in maintaining books of accounts and financial records in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- To prepare vouchers and ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.
- To support the preparation of financial statements, reports, reconciliations, and budgets as required.
- To ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory requirements, and donor guidelines.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Maintain asset register and fixed asset records
- To perform any other finance and accounts-related tasks assigned by the management.
