Job Context:
Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of the entire human community. DAM has been contributing to the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development.
The health & WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 8 institutions and 17 projects.DAM Health & WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of “Officer-Finance& Admin” of its “Prioritized HIV prevention services for key populations in Bangladesh, Comprehensive prevention programs for people who inject drugs (PWID) and their partners” Project under DAM Health and WASH Sector funded by The Global Fund.
Job Responsibility:
- The prime roles and responsibilities of F&AO are to prepare project budget, financial operations & administration, Donor MoU review, service center MoU preparation, financial reporting including PFR
- He/she will be also responsible for financial operation at budget preparation in financial software, budget monitoring and summery presentation.
- Provide support to the organizations and service center level in order to smooth financial management by undertaking regular field monitoring and supervision.
- To be part of the procurement and payments for vendors /service centers/ providers.
- Assist for procurement of project materials, logistics, FF&E and other equipment
- To manage the internal, donor and external audit
- To collect and check bills/vouchers from the field and give feedback.
- To conduct orientation to the service center staff to enhance their capacity for financial management.
- To work on recruitment like documentation, provide appointment letters and update the personal file.
- To prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- To manage the organizational mother fund, VAT, Tax and other issues.
- To communicate with service centers and make recommendation in relation to finance and admin in consultation with the PM/ED.
- He is performing any other assignment given the by the line management time to time.
