Responsibilities & Context
- Candidates with a military background will be preferred.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety preferred.
- Skilled on Risk Assessment and reporting, CAP preparation and follow up, Fire safety rules & regulations, Workplace safety audits and inspections, Fire Safety system and Training.
- Develop and enforce comprehensive fire safety policies and procedures tailored to the leather industry, ensuring fire prevention, suppression, and evacuation protocols are in place.
- Lead emergency response efforts in the event of a fire, chemical spill, or other emergencies, ensuring swift, coordinated action to minimize damage and risk to personnel.
- Regularly conduct thorough fire and safety checks to identify potential hazards such as flammable materials, machinery risks, and environmental factors.
- Supervise the security systems (CCTV, access control) to detect and prevent unauthorized access, theft, or potential safety threats in the facility.
