Responsibilities & Context

Ventura Leatherware Mfy (BD) Ltd. a 100% Export Oriented Enterprise in Uttara EPZ, Nilphamari is searching for suitable candidate for the position of Officer-IE. Officer – IE will play a vital role in optimizing processes, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, and driving continuous improvement on the production floor. The position requires expertise in process analysis, layout design, and data-driven decision-making to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop all styles in TMIS/GST systems based on production engineering observations before starting QCO.
• Design and implement efficient IE layouts, ensuring optimal utilization of 4M principles.
• Coordinate equipment management by addressing shortages and following TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices to maximize utilization.
• Enhance workshop efficiency and manage incentive lines by controlling input hours, boosting hourly output, and resolving abnormalities through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in processes using YAMAZUMI techniques to improve workflow.
• Monitor and manage production flow, including line WIP, Supermarket Kanban, and material flow systems, to ensure seamless operations.
• Record and address daily abnormalities, share input/output data analysis with stakeholders, and drive improvement initiatives.
• Oversee automation processes by ensuring accurate machine bag hours, monitoring automation utilization rates, and executing IE projects like productivity integration and CNC/equipment optimization.
• Conduct daily reviews of production manpower, maintain organized workshop equipment and floor management, and prepare monthly manpower budgets aligned with production plans.
• Lead multi skill training programs for section technicians, evaluate their performance using KPIs, and publish reports on FHO analysis and efficiency improvements.
