Responsibilities & Context

Ventura Leatherware Mfy (BD) Ltd, a 100% export-oriented company situated in Uttara EPZ, Nilphamari, is inviting applications for the position of Officer – IQC (Marking and Cutting). This role is critical in optimizing material utilization, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring quality compliance in leather cutting and nesting operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Create accurate digital markers and perform leather nesting using the COMELZ system.
• Maintain daily material consumption records; compare actual vs. theoretical usage.
• Monitor marker efficiency and analyze material yield based on actual cut results.
• Identify and mark leather defects (e.g., scars, shading, looseness, pinholes).
• Follow quality callout protocols and document issues.
• Work with Sales and QA for feedback on leather acceptance standards.
• Coordinate with production teams on marking and cutting concerns.
• Notify suppliers of quality issues and follow up on compensations or responses.
