Additional Requirements

Should have a minimum of 2 years of Professional Experience as a merchandiser about footwear.
Experience requirements will be relaxed for candidates with exceptionally academic track record and talent.
Must have a good command over English.
Able to work independently and as well as in a team.
Must be self-driven, creative and able to grasp and implement assignments quickly.
Must have good command in MS Office (Word, Excel and Internet).

Strategy Development & Implementation.
Product Design & Development.
Act as a standard bearer for ensuring Co-Walk products deliver on brand promise (style, comfort, price) consistently and continuously raising the bar.
Ensure product range building process in-line with the “Co-Walk Merchandising Process” timelines.
Provide 2x-3x the required number of lines as described by the assortment strategy framework prepared by the Merchandising Manager.
Ensure the key lessons (success and failures) from the previous seasons are incorporated into the new season range building process.
Work with the Merchandising Manager on improving line efficiency without compromising on required choice (i.e. reduce duplication in lines, improve QTY per line).
Lead the shoe-line review product presentation along with the Merchandising Manager.
Work with retail ops and marketing in building stories, talking points for product groups.
Provide Marketing and Visual Merchandise team’s necessary key products details to build stories around.
Find new suppliers, improve cost and product standards with existing ones.
Any other tasks assigned by the authority.
