Additional Requirements

• Masters’ degree in Statistics , Social Science or equivalent with combination of qualifications and practical experience in relevant field of M&E and or MIS.
• Minimum 3 years professional practical/experience in the field of M&E and or MIS development process for HIV/AIDs prevention project especially with injection drug user’s intervention or others high risk populations.
• Have experience to work with different partner NGOs, being a member of lead NGO of the consortium. Also have experience of working with Government bodies as a part of national program
• Ability to manage M&E and MIS and database, including template design, data entry, cleaning, logical checks, report generating etc.
• Computer skill in SPSS and MS Access in preferable
• Documentation and good report writing skills in English
• Willingness and strong commitment to travel in the remote field adapt hardship as well as working with any stressful situation and be a good team player.

Responsibilities & Context

PSTC is managing a grants of The Global Fund titled “Prevention Package for People Who Use Drugs (PUD) (injecting and non-injecting) and their Sexual Partners, GC-7” with aim of minimize spread of HIV and minimize the impact of AIDS on the individual, family, community and society. Under this project, PSTC is providing health education along with means of behavior change, clinical services and creating enabling environment towards the PWID through operating 8 Comprehensive Drop-In-Centers (CDICs)6 OST center and 26 Outlet in Dhaka and outside Dhaka, partnership with three local /national organizations. In addition. In this project, SCI provides assistance as PR. This position will be stationed at project office based at Dhaka city.

• The Officer- M&E is responsible for proper implementation of an effective M&E and MIS system in the field /service centers and project management including progress monitoring and follow-up of program monitoring activities on a regular basis.
• He/she will directly participate, assist and supervise monitoring surveys, analyzing data and MIS and M&E activities.
• He/she will assist the project, service centers and consortium member staff to maintain the proper M&E and MIS systems.
• He/she will be ensured timely collection of monthly data and keep control on data collection process, data quality control, generating report in time and will support TS-M&E and other project staffs.
• He/she will also be responsible for providing support to the field staff collecting data, checking & interpreting the data. Officer-M&E will also be responsible for maintaining and providing M&E and MIS related information to program management as and when needed.
• He will be also responsible for training up of POWs, Field supervisors, Manager and project staff for data collection, compilation, analyzing and presentation on key indicators at the service centers level.
• S/He is also responsible for any other emergency mission & project related activities assigned by the project and PSTC management

Compensation & Other Benefits

In addition, 2 festival bonus equivalent to two basic salary as per policy.
