Educational requirements: Master’s degree in any discipline.
Proficiency in English reading and writing is a must for this position.
Experience requirement: One year of experience in a similar position in the Public Relations Office of any organization preferably at any private university.
Note: Selected candidates may be recruited as an Officer or Assistant Officer based on experience.
Responsibilities & Context
- Writing and distributing press releases about university events, achievements, research breakthroughs, and other important news.
- Coordinating with media outlets to ensure positive coverage of the university’s activities and events.
- Handling media inquiries and managing the university’s response during crises or controversies.
- Creating and distributing newsletters to keep faculty, staff, and students informed about university news and developments.
- Drafting and disseminating official announcements, memos, and other internal communications.
- Assisting in the planning and promotion of internal events, seminars, and conferences.
- Managing and updating the university’s website and social media profiles to ensure accurate and engaging content.
- Overseeing the production of university publications, such as brochures, annual reports, and promotional materials.
- Building and maintaining relationships with community groups, alumni, donors, and other external stakeholders.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns that promote the university’s programs, events, and achievements.
- Organizing and promoting university events such as graduation ceremonies, public lectures, and open days.
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by the university authority.
