Responsibilities & Context

Ventura Leatherware Mfy (BD) Ltd. a 100% Export Oriented Enterprise in Uttara EPZ, is searching for suitable candidate for the position of Officer-Reward Management/Payroll. The position is responsible to manage payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely compensation for all employees. The candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll regulations, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality, administering the organization’s reward management, ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in line with company policies.

Attendance management: Oversee employee attendance and leave management, manage HRIS, resolve payroll discrepancies, address employee queries, and prepare related reports. Ensure timely and accurate compensation while adhering to regulatory requirements and maintaining confidentiality in payroll records.

Payroll Management: Prepare and execute monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate calculations of wages, overtime, bonuses, maternity benefits, final settlement etc. Handle statutory deductions (income tax, provident fund, etc.) while ensuring compliance with payroll policies and local labor laws for efficient and accurate processes. 

Benefits Administration: Administration of employee benefits programs related to payroll such as health insurance, different bonuses etc. 

Data Management: Maintain employee payroll records, including time tracking, attendance, leave balances, and tax details. Update payroll data in the HRIS system regularly. 

Report: Generate regular payroll reports, including salary summaries, pay slips, and tax deduction reports. Assist in preparing and submitting reports for internal and external audits.

Skills & Expertise

Good communication skills in both English and Bangla

HRIS/ HR Database Management

Knowledge of EPZ Law

Proficient in MS Office Applications
