Job Summary: As the Senior Officer, Human Resources, you will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions including attendance management, leave management, recruitment, employee retention, employee file management, new employee induction, and HR analytics. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily/Monthly Attendance Management:
  • Monitor and maintain daily attendance records of employees.
  • Coordinate with department head to ensure accurate attendance reporting.
  • Prepare monthly attendance reports for payroll processing.

Leave Management:

  • Manage and track employee leave requests and approvals.
  • Maintain leave records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding leave entitlements and procedures.

Recruitment:

  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs.
  • Source and screen candidates, conduct interviews, and facilitate the hiring process.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks and offer letters.

Employee Retention:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for turnover and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of retention programs and initiatives.

Employee File Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality of employee information.
  • Manage documentation related to employee onboarding, transfers, promotions, and terminations.

New Employee Induction:

  • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation programs.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process, including completing paperwork and explaining company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for new hires into their roles and the company culture.

HR Analytics:

  • Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends and insights.
  • Prepare reports on key HR metrics such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and recruitment effectiveness.
  • Provide recommendations based on HR analytics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
