Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering

Minimum Graduation in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering), ICE (Information and communication engineering), EEE (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) or ECE (Electrical and Communication Engineering) from any reputed Public, Private or Foreign University.

Experience

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in related field is preferable.

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge in Logical Reasoning, Programming Logic, Mathematics and Algorithm.
• Proficient in PHP, Laravel, and MVC frameworks, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET.
• Practical experience in RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Maria DB etc.
• Knowledge of database optimization techniques and query performance tuning.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, JSON, XML).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket).
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with front-end systems.
• Ability to work independently and within a team in an Agile development environment.
• Strong proficiency in Angular (latest versions preferred).
• Highly motivated and hard worker.
• Willing to adopt new technologies.
• Good knowledge on Linux platform.
• Age maximum 35 years as on 01.03.2025.

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC., a fast growing Islami Shariah based private commercial bank in the country having strong business network with 141 online branches across the country with an excellent working environment and corporate culture is looking for challenge striving, smart, self-motivated and energetic candidates with requisite experience and qualifications for recruitment as Officer – Software Development & MIS under the Bank’s IT Division, Corporate Head Office, Dhaka.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel PHP framework.
• Design, implement, and optimize SQL Server databases.
• Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures (PL/SQL).
• Collaborate with the front-end development team to implement new features.
• Perform database optimization, data modeling, and ensure security of database systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backend performance and data storage.
• Ensure the quality and maintainability of code, following coding standards.
• Document technical processes and systems.
