Requirements

Education

2-3 years Proven experience in quality assurance and laboratory management, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
Stron knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 22000, ISO 17025.
Experience with laboratory testing methods, instruments, and accreditation procedures.

Responsibilities & Context

Develop, implement, and monitor quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) procedures to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
Conduct routine inspections and audits across production, packaging, Process, Hygiene & Sanitation and storage areas.
Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
Maintain and review quality documentation including SOPs, quality manuals, and deviation reports.
Ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations (e.g., ISO 22000, ISO 17025, HALAL).
Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to address non-conformities.
Train staff on quality standards, hygiene, and safety protocols.
Manage daily operations of the accredited laboratory ensuring adherence to protocols and standards.
Oversee sample collection, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Ensure all testing methods comply with accreditation requirements (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025).
Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration, and documentation of maintenance logs.
Validate and verify test methods and results to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Prepare and submit reports on lab findings to relevant departments.
Coordinate external audits and inspections related to lab accreditation.
