Requirements

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration
  • Master’s Degree in business administration, Management or related field required.

Additional Requirements

  • Age 28 to 35 years
  • Previous track record of target-based results achievements
  • Expertise in facilitating growth of business in FMCG, food products or relevant industry
  • Strong team and time management, collaboration, financial analysis and reporting skills are essential
  • Goal oriented, focused and hardworking.
  • Proficiency in financial software and regulatory compliance is necessary
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience, including managerial roles.

Position overview: The Operations Manager (OM) will be responsible for propelling corporate growth, overseeing the company’s day to day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The OM will implement disciplined operational practices to drive sales, foster a culture of integrity and hard work, eliminate corruption, reduce costs, and achieve exponential growth. Excellent leadership and communication abilities are vital for team collaboration. 

Objectives:

  • Set and achieve ambitious sales and growth targets.
  • Establish a highly efficient and disciplined operational framework.
  • Drive immediate sales results while enhancing overall productivity. Cultivate a culture of integrity, diligence, and accountability among all employees.
  • Implement cost-reduction strategies that contribute to sustainable growth. 

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management 

  • Oversee and manage daily operations, aligning them with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Sales and Marketing Alignment 

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create strategies that deliver immediate and sustained results.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.

Employee Engagement and Performance

  • Promote a culture of accountability, hard work, and high performance.
  • Implement a robust performance management system, including regular reviews and metrics to ensure employee diligence.

Cost Management

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
  • Monitor financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Integrity and Compliance 

  • Establish and enforce policies to prevent corruption and unethical behavior.
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Growth Strategy 

  • Develop and execute strategies for exponential growth, including market analysis and opportunity capitalization.
  • Continuously refine operational strategies in response to market trends.

Deliverables

Sales and Growth Targets: 

  • Set and achieve ambitious sales and growth targets in consultation with the Managing Director, aiming to reach a 100-crore valuation within one year.

Operational Framework: 

  • Develop a comprehensive operational policies and procedures document within the first 90 days.

Sales Strategy Report:

  • Deliver a detailed sales strategy report with immediate actions and expected outcomes within the first 30 days.

Employee Performance Metrics 

  • Implement a performance management system with key performance indicators (KPIs) for all employees within 60 days.

Cost Reduction Plan 

  • Develop a cost reduction strategy identifying key areas for savings within the first 90 days.

Integrity and Compliance Program 

  • Design and launch an integrity and compliance program within 120 days, including mandatory training sessions for all employees.

Growth Strategy Document 

  • Present a strategic growth plan for the next fiscal year, including market analysis and potential opportunities, within 180 days.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

  • The OM will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and collaborate closely with other executives, department heads, and team leaders to ensure alignment with the company’s vision and strategic goals.

CONCLUSION

  • The OM will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, ensuring the company not only meets but exceeds its performance targets. Successful execution of this TOR will result in immediate sales growth, improved productivity, and sustainable development, all while maintaining a strong culture of integrity and diligence across the organization.
