Strong hands-on experience with MikroTik RouterOS, Cisco switches, and FortiGate 101F firewalls.Sound knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, NAT, DNS, DHCP, QoS, and failover/HA technologies.Proficiency in configuring IPsec Site-to-Site VPN and SSL VPN.Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, PRTG, LibreNMS, or SolarWinds) and network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, iPerf).Professional certifications such as MikroTik (MTCNA / MTCRE / MTCINE), Cisco (CCNA / CCNP), Fortinet (NSE 4 / FCP Network Security), or ITIL Foundation will be considered a strong advantage.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills with the ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.

Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and secure our network infrastructure across corporate offices and data centers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MikroTik routers, Cisco switches, FortiGate firewalls, VPN connectivity, and Network Operations Center (NOC) monitoring to ensure high availability, security, and performance for our FinTech operations.

Job Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot MikroTik routers and Cisco Layer 2/Layer 3 switches. Administer FortiGate 101F firewalls (policies, NAT, routing, IPS, VPN). Manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Internet connectivity while maintaining topology diagrams and IP address management.
Data Center Network Administration: Manage data center infrastructure for maximum availability and redundancy. Monitor bandwidth and hardware health, coordinate with ISPs/vendors, and support disaster recovery plans.
VPN & Connectivity Management: Configure and maintain Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs with banking partners, payment gateways, and third-party vendors. Troubleshoot routing, encryption, and connectivity issues.
NOC Operations: Monitor devices using real-time monitoring tools, respond to outages within SLAs, perform root cause analysis, and ensure 24/7 availability of critical services.
Security & Compliance: Enforce network security best practices, analyze firewall logs, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure secure network segmentation.
Reporting & Collaboration: Prepare weekly network health reports and monthly infrastructure audits. Provide L2/L3 support and collaborate with System Administrators, Security Engineers, and Cloud Engineers.
