BRB Hospitals Limited is currently seeking a detail-oriented and skilled OT Assistant to join our Operation Theatre Department. We are committed to providing exceptional healthcare services and specialized care to our patients.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of the operating room for procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and in proper working order.
Sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, following established protocols and infection control guidelines.
Assist the surgical team during procedures, providing support in positioning the patient, handling instruments, and passing supplies as required.
Monitor and maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery, adhering to strict aseptic techniques.
Prepare and help to assist to administer medications under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
Assist in the transportation of patients to and from the operating room, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Clean and maintain operating room equipment and supplies, following established procedures.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Provide support in post-operative care, including wound dressing, monitoring vital signs, and transferring patients to the recovery area.
Document and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, patient information, and other relevant data.
