  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R-Studio) and MS Excel for data processing and trend analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bengali, with the ability to write clear and concise research reports.
  • Experience in fieldwork, community outreach, and building partnerships with external organizations.
  • Qualities: Passion for healthcare, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in diverse environments. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with different communities effectively.
  • Experience: At least 02+ years experiences in outreach or research.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Outreach Campaign Planning and Execution: Design and implement outreach campaigns to promote hospital services across both rural and urban areas. Work with local leaders, NGOs and healthcare professionals to ensure widespread awareness and engagement with the hospital’s services.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Oversee the collection and management of data from eye care camps, ensuring that accurate and relevant information is captured. Analyze trends, track performance and provide insights that inform hospital operations and patient care initiatives.
  • Research and Publication: Write, compile and submit research papers based on data collected during eye camps for publication in scientific journals. Collaborate with academic institutions to contribute to the broader knowledge base in ophthalmology.
  • Community Engagement: Foster relationships with local leaders, NGOs and healthcare providers to build and expand the hospital’s outreach network. Identify opportunities for community-based initiatives and partnerships.
  • Presentation of Research: Represent the hospital at national and international conferences, presenting findings from research studies and outreach programs. Engage with stakeholders and professionals to exchange knowledge and advocate for improvements in eye care services.
