- The responsibilities of the student counselor include supporting the emotional and professional growth of students, developing and monitoring counseling support programs, and providing educational and vocational guidance.
- To be a successful student counselor, you should treat all students with patience and compassion for the challenges they are facing.
- Ultimately, a top-notch student counselor has a strong level of social perceptiveness, is gently persuasive, and has the ability to make students feel safe and secure.
- Maintain communication with the respective counselors.
- Communicate with students and collect their required documents for visa applications.
- Review and verify if documents sent by students are in the right order.
- Maintain records of the student`s documentation.
- Update the daily processing work activities.
- Communicate with clients face-to-face or over the phone regarding their application step.
- Other duties as assigned.
