Additional Requirements

  • Have Diploma in Medical Faculty (Academic 3 years, Internship 1 year)
  • Have knowledge on technical assistance for patient screening & management
  • Have good communication and counselling skills in Bangla.
  • Skill in dealing with different issues on the spot is preferred.

Responsibilities & Context

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct health campaigns by outreaching Char community people in collaboration with Programme organizer to provide primary healthcare services.
  • Provide Primary health Care services in Char Primary Health Care center.
  • Rapid assessment of patients, triaging and management as per BMDC guideline. Referral in cases needed and proper documentation of all the patient information.
  • Provide counselling and dissemination of health messages to patients, caregivers and community people as well
  • Establish community-based health services network with the engagement of the community.
  • Maintain smooth supply and inventory management of necessary medical supplies and consumables.
  • Digitally maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients, including assessment findings, treatments provided, and other relevant information.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and community members, providing health education and information on preventive measures.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
